Children's ministries
Children’s Sunday School
Sunday School is for children ages 3 (before September 1) through 6th grade. Classes are held before the morning worship service from September-May, 9:30-10:15 am. Children enjoy a time of group singing before breaking into smaller groups for a Bible lesson. We are currently studying our way through the Bible with the Gospel Project from Lifeway. |
Cadets
Cloverdale’s Calvinist Cadet Corp aims to help grow boys spiritually in all areas of life—devotionally, mentally, physically, and socially— through the study of God’s Word and His creation. We also play team building games and learn skills we can use to serve God and others. Boys grades 2 - 6 are invited to attend. There may be some Saturdays for special events such as rocket launches and camping. Cadets meet from 6:30–8:00 PM at church the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays during the school year. |
GEMS
GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) is a girl's club for grades 2-6. Our GEMS Club meets in the fellowship hall at church on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. We begin our meetings with singing and devotions followed by a fun activity together to work toward earning badges. GEMS meet from 6:30–8:00 PM at church the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays during the school year. |
youth ministries
Junior High Youth Group
The Junior High Youth Group is an opportunity for all students in 7th and 8th grades to join together for a time of learning more about the God we serve and have a lot of fun together. Each year the Junior High Youth Group includes studies that are focused topically or on specific areas of the Bible. Through our studies, our goal is to challenge our youth with having a greater understanding of the Holy, inspired Word of God and to think critically about how their faith impacts their life. Jr. High Youth Group meets every other Sunday at church on Sundays 4:30 – 5:45 PM during the school year. |
High School Youth Group
The senior high youth group provides an opportunity for students in grades 9-12 to learn and apply the truths of the Reformed faith in a safe learning environment while developing and strengthening relationships. We meet twice a month on Sunday afternoons for snacks, a lesson, and a relationship-building activity. In addition to Sunday meeting times, an event is planned each month that varies between a fun event, fundraiser, and service opportunity. Youth Group meets every other Sunday at church on Sundays from 4:30 – 5:45 PM during the school year. |
