- Living in a community that loves and cares for one another by intentionally entering into the joys, hurts, brokenness, and concerns of one another.
- Providing loving, personal care for each member of the church family.
- Using our Spirit-given gifts for the edification, service, and strengthening of others.
- Offering educational programs that instruct, nurture, and disciple all ages.
- Advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ in the local community and the world by personal involvement and through partnering with other missionaries and organizations.
- Serving the congregation and community through ministries of mercy.
- Seeking God’s direction through prayer and the Bible, in dependence on the Holy Spirit.
What We Believe
We are a Christian Church that believes the truths of the universal creeds of the church: We are a Protestant Church that affirms the five solas of the 16th century Protestant Reformation:
- Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone) – The Bible is God’s inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word and the only infallible rule and ultimate authority for the church (Matt. 4:4; 2 Tim. 3:16).
- Sola Gratia (Grace Alone) – Our salvation rests solely on the work of God’s grace alone and not on our work in any way (Rom. 2:4; Eph. 2:8-10).
- Sola Fide (Faith Alone) – Justification is by faith alone and this faith is a gift of God. By God’s free grace, the righteousness of Jesus Christ is imputed to us through the instrument of faith. Christ’s work is the sole ground of our acceptance by God, and the only means by which our sins are pardoned (Rom. 5:1; Gal. 2:16).
- Solus Christus (Christ Alone) – Jesus Christ is the only mediator and it is through his person and work alone by which we can experience salvation (John 14:6).
- Soli Deo Gloria (To the Glory of God Alone) – Since salvation is all of God and has been accomplished by Him, to God alone belongs all the glory (Col. 3:17).
